The Lucky Winner is Ms. Julie Licandro of Greely, ON. She purchased her ticket from the Eastern Ontario Snowmobile Club (EOSC) and was excited to find out that he was that lucky winner. The winning ticket was 004317.
Snowmobile and Trailer Raffle is an annual event where two demo snowmobiles and a trailer are raffled off to support the district’s and clubs’ safety and education programs. These programs include:
- public safety signage along snowmobile and multi-use trails;
- snowmobile operator and driver training course for youth;
- trail patrol program for on-trail support and education; and
- health and safety program for volunteers.
The Winning Package is worth $36,997 and includes:
- 2 – demo 2022 Skidoo Renegade 900 ACE Adrenaline snowmobiles;
- 1 – demo 2022 Lightning Avalanche enclosed trailer; and
- 2 – 2023 Ontario Trail Permits
The Draw took place at 7pm on 15 December 2022 at the Carleton Place Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre, 170 Bridge St, Carleton Place, ON and was seen by over 45 people on Facebook Live
Everyone Wins. The sixteen participating snowmobile clubs from UCSR and 2 clubs from Snow Country (D6) shared the $40,000 plus profit that will be put to use in UCSR’s safety and education programs, thus providing a better and safer product for snowmobilers in communities all over Eastern Ontario.
